Vintage button with attractive etched design of a star flower. Stud type shank. Backstamped with maker’s initials and S.T.G. so I believe this is sterling silver.

Pair of Wests Patent solitaire buttons, with detachable stud type shanks, which are released with a spring mechanism. The tops have a simple engine turned design on gilt metal with a scalloped pattern rim. Backstamped: WESTS PATENT with the TGW monogram. Price is for the pair.

Vintage cylinder shaped buttons, some kind of early plastic - probably casein. The cylinder has flat cream coloured ends, and turned circles top and bottom of a bright blue central band. Sewing hole drilled sideways through the centre. Price is per button

Antique buttons, decorated in champleve enamel, the panels divided by rococo style gilt metal scrolls. One side is blue, and the other side is white shading to pink, overpainted with flowers. Vintage silver plated portrait button, depicting the head of Cyrano de Bergerac, the protagonist in a play by Henry Rostand, popular in the 1870’s, but the button is later - probably 1960’s. Flat back and loop shank. Some rubbing to the silver plating but still a handsome portrait button.

Vintage/antique button, silver plated concave shape on the top, embellished with a gilt metal coronet rivetted through the base - looks like a Marquis’s coronet molded with 4 strawberry leaves and pearls. The button is hollow with air holes on the back, and a stud type shank.
