Golden Age buttons, with incised design of scrolls/leaves in two-tone gilt metal - bright burnished finish alternating with darker colour. Two-part construction with gilt metal back and four-way metal box shank. Backstamped: VICTOIRA 1 at the bottom, and a small incised bird over a sprig of leaves at the top. Slight rubbing to the gilding on the backs of some. Price is per button.

Large vintage coin-like button, depicting Maximilian I, founder of the Austrian Empire in the 15th century. The button is inscribed round the rim: MAXIMILIANUS ROM NORUM IMPERATOR SEMPER AUGUSTUS. Two-part construction with plain brass metal back and U-shaped shank. Good large size and an attractive pressed brass image.
