Vintage/antique glass ball button, with a clear glass sphere over a green glass base which is dotted with clear glass bubbles. This gives a paperweight effect so that the bubbles are magnified by the glass ball. Small metal backplate and loop shank. (Difficult to photograph but very nice button)

Large vintage cream button, fat bullet or torpedo shape, with rounded points on both ends and incised bands around the middle, highlighted in silver lustre. This is interrupted by thread groove on the back, with tunnel shank. Some bits of silver lustre have splashed onto the body. Very stylish, vintage collectable.

Large vintage/antique button, pressed and pierced gilt metal with steel shapes protruding through the cut-out shapes. Two-part construction with black painted metal back with raised hump shank. Condition is vintage, with some touches of tarnish to the front, and rust damage to the back - but still a dramatic large collectable button.

Charming cast silver buttons, with image of two children sitting on a stile, under a parasol, in the style of Kate Greenaway - known as Summer. (Ref BBB Plate 191, p648.15). Hallmarked with the maker’s initials JMB, lion for sterling silver, wheatsheaves for Chester, and date letter either “A” or “B” for 1901 or 1902. Flat back and loop shank. There are 2 others with squashed shanks, listed separately. This is for the 4 in better condition as shown. All would benefit from a gentle clean but I have left as found. Very collectable.
