Victorian button, star design, and “passementerie” construction - black painted metal wire frame with individual facetted beads of black glass placed on spikes on the metal frame. Some signs of age related wear, and missing pieces on each button, as these were always very delicate. Despite damage, still an interesting old button with historic method of construction.
