Large vintage/antique button, made of polished casein - shiny on the front and matt on the back - imitating tortoiseshell. The front is embellished with a molded glass decoration, part painted flower design like a miniature mosaic. The glass is rivetted to the base in two places. Flat back and metal loop shank. Slight rubbing to the paintwork and slight wear to the very edge of the glass piece, otherwise in good vintage condition.
