Gorgeous antique porcelain stud button, with a painted portrait showing the head of a charming young boy in a lace collar, against a dark background. White unglazed back and glazed shank, molded in one. This listing is for the example on the upper right in the 3rd photo. The other is listed separately. There are traces of old glue at the foot of the shank so it looks as if this one was repaired at some stage. Shank seems quite firm now and the repair does not affect the image on the front.
