Lovely antique Satsuma buttons with hand painted purple and white flowers (wisteria?) and a small bird with red head, blue body and swallow-like tail, all highlighted in gold lustre. Blue painted rim decorated with gold dashes. The ceramic body is held in a metal rim, with metal back and loop shank. Backstamped with letter S and FS in diamond cartouche. Price is per button.
