Antique Satsuma button with hand painted image of two red capped cranes, with their white bodies and black and gold tail feathers. The birds are standing on long legs beside flowers and trees, highlighted in gold lustre. (The third photo is a little over-exposed but does show the 2nd bird in the background more clearly). Usual glazed back with tunnel shank and unglazed top to the shank. Slight rubbing to the gold lustre rim but still lovely quality collectibles.
