Antique solitaire button, with detachable shank which joins with a spring mechanism. I believe the top is ceramic (or possibly enamel) decorated with blue and pink flowers on a blue background, held in a brass rim. Back stamped: WESTS PATENT with the rising sun logo. A good size and very pretty.
