Antique enamel button, with letter “F” in tiny raised silver dots and gilt circles. The top is perfectly smooth so the letter is somehow over the the lovely blue enamel but under the surface - not like paillons which would be on top of the surface. Gilt metal back and double stud type shank. Very pretty button in good condition - the white patches are reflections of light.
