Antique button, domed shape with enamel pansy on a black background. Possibly enamel on porcelain but difficult to tell as the back is not visible. Surrounded by a pretty metal (silver?) border with engraved design. This connects the front to a brass back with shallow stud type shank. Slight age related wear to the surface but very pretty.
