Japanese Gin Bari enamelled buttons, with closonne flowers on a pale green foiled background, covered in clear enamel. White metal rim and back, with loop shank. Dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. All the buttons show slight signs of discolouration near the rim, which tended to happen during the manufacture of Gin Bari buttons. This listing is for the 3 buttons shown top right, and bottom row in the main picture. The other button (marked B) is the most discoloured, so listed separately and priced accordingly. Despite imperfections, still beautiful and rare buttons. Price is per button.
