Japanese Gin Bari enamelled button, with closonne flowers on a pale green foiled background, covered in clear enamel. White metal rim and back, with loop shank. Dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. All the buttons show slight signs of discolouration near the rim, which tended to happen during the manufacture of Gin Bari buttons. This listing is for the button on the top left of the group picture (marked B) and is the most discoloured. The others are all sold now. Despite imperfections, still a beautiful and rare buttons.
