Sparkly vintage glass buttons or beads. They have a single facetted glass stone held in an opaque glass frame. The frame has a flat back and sewing (or threading hole) passing sideways through the back. So probably beads or embellishments but could be used as buttons. Very sparkly, and great vintage feel.
