Large vintage/antique button, pressed gilt metal over a background of mother of pearl. The rim is a pierced circle of tiny flowers, each with a separate gilt facetted steel rivetted through the base. The centre is a star pattern of pressed metal pineapples, around a central paste stone. Textured gilt metal back and loop shank. Sadly, the mother of pearl background has a hairline crack, as shown.- but still too nice a button to throw away.
