Antique solitaire button, with detachable back, which joins with a spring mechanism. Delicate and detailed incised pattern of flowers in a quatrefoil shape. I believe the top is silver (unmarked and untested) with a silver plated rim which connects it to the back. Backstamped WESTS PATENT with the rising sun logo.
