Large Victorian celluloid button in the form of a flower. The centre has a small lithograph image of a yellow pansy, under a celluloid shield. This is surrounded by petals outlined in pressed metal, over a dull celluloid background, with each petal being pierced by a tiny white metal flower. Black painted metal back and loop shank. Charming design, and in good vintage condition - a real collectable.
