Vintage silver plated portrait button, depicting the head of Cyrano de Bergerac, the protagonist in a play by Henry Rostand, popular in the 1870’s, but the button is later - probably 1960’s. Flat back and loop shank. Some rubbing to the silver plating but still a handsome portrait button. (This one is slightly smaller than version recently sold)
