Victorian picture button, which I think illustrates the fable of the fox and the crow or raven and the fox …. or could possibly be a bird on a branch. Stamped brass image surrounded by rounded rim with impressed pattern. Brass back and loop shank. The back is stamped D W P & Co LONDON, inscribed around the diamond registration mark - which indicates the design is in metal (I at the top), and was registered in 1845 (A below) , in February (G to the left).
