Handsome antique picture button, with classical head in pressed, silvered metal. I think this is Minerva, wearing a fancy plumed helmet embellished with a winged bird or dragon. The metal portrait sits on a black base of unidentified material, but nice quality. Metal loop shank held with a small metal collet. Metal is slightly loose but still a very attractive button.
