Large antique button, pressed and pierced gilt metal, with image in high relief, of a lady in a large hat (probably a portrait of the Duchess of Devonshire), surrounded by a circle of facetted cut steels individually rivetted through the base. One-piece construction with bar across the back which holds the loop shank. A gorgeous collectable version of this popular image.
