Large antique button, with a lithograph portrait, claw-set under a glass shield. The portrait is of young lady in 18th century dress, a little faded but still very pretty. This is surrounded by a border of claw-set paste stones, forming a scalloped rim. White metal back with U-shaped shank, surrounded by a ring of hollow circles which hold the paste stones. Probably late 19th or early 20th century.
