Portrait of a lady in a large hat and red dress , 18th century style costume - possibly the Duchess of Devonshire(?) Some kind of printed image under a clear glass/enamel? shield. Gilt metal rim and back with metal loop shank. Probably a 20th century reproduction of a famous image but nice quality and vivid colours. The white patch (2 o’clock position) is just a reflection of light.
