Gorgeous set of silver buttons depicting a winged cherub kissing the head of a child amid clouds, with scrolling border. Full hallmarks: maker’s initials L&S for Levi and Salaman, anchor for Birmingham Assay office, lion for sterling silver and date letter “c” for 1902 or “d” for 1903. They come in original case , covered in faux green leather and lined in dark red velvet and cream silk with the retailer’s name Botley & Lewis, Reading. Good size, good condition, and a very decorative and collectable set.
