Small peasant silver ball buttons. Hollow ball shape, made of circles of silver filigree wire and granules, typical of those from Spain. Arranged in groups of three, with a loop shank attached to a long loop, 3 buttons hanging from a single toggle bar. The end of each bar has a hallmark, possibly the lion of Cordoba mark but too small for me to distinguish. (Ref Jane Perry’s Guide to Peasant Silver 3.1.d). Condition is good but blackened with age so they need cleaning. Price is per group of 3 buttons. Small but unusual and collectible.
