Pierced silver foliage in rope rim, London 1900/1902

£15.00

Antique English silver button, possibly representing Mary Queen of Scots in the centre - the face with a small farthingale collar - surrounded by pierced foliage/scrolls inside a rope rim. Hallmarked with the maker’s initials JW, lion for sterling silver, leopard’s head for London and a date letter. Two have the date letter “e” for 1900 and three have the date letter “g” for 1902, otherwise the same. Small U-shaped shank on the backs. Pattern is a little rubbed with age, and they might benefit from a gentle clean. Price is per button.
