Silver Art Nouveau flower, Chester 1901

£15.00

Late Victorian silver buttons, pierced Art Nouveau design in the form of swirling flower buds, leaves, and an iris flower. Full English hallmarks: maker’s initials JDWD (James Deakin & Sons), lion for sterling silver, wheatsheaves for Chester Assay office, and date letter “A” for 1901. Very pretty example.
